Error codes

Every error of the API and of the app carries a code. This page explains each of them in simple words: what it means and what you can do about it. If you see a code on your screen, find it in the lists below and open its page. If the steps do not help, use the "Report the problem" button and tell us the code.

Session, authentication and filters

• INVALID_CREDENTIALS: The email or the password you entered is not correct, so you could not log in.
• INVALID_CODE: The security code you entered is not valid.
• AUTHENTICATION_REQUIRED: You are not logged in, or your session has ended, so the action was not done.
• ACCESS_DENIED: Your account does not have permission to do this operation.
• TOO_MANY_REQUESTS: Too many attempts were made in a short time, so the app asks you to wait.
• VALIDATION_FAILED: Some fields of the form are empty or have a value that is not valid.
• LANGUAGE_INVALID: The language chosen is not available. The app only supports Spanish and English.
• MFA_ALREADY_ENABLED: Two step verification (MFA) is already turned on for your account, so it cannot be set up again.
• MFA_ENROLLMENT_NOT_PENDING: You tried to confirm the setup of two step verification, but no setup was started.
• MFA_NOT_ENABLED: You tried to turn off or use two step verification, but it is not turned on for your account.

Users and profile

• USER_NOT_FOUND: The user does not exist, or it was removed.
• USER_DATA_INVALID: The user data does not follow the rules, usually because the password is too weak or too similar to the name or the email.
• EMAIL_ALREADY_REGISTERED: Another account already uses this email address.
• EMAIL_UNCHANGED: The new email you entered is the same as the one you already use to log in.
• EMAIL_CHANGE_NOT_PENDING: There is no email change waiting to be confirmed, so the code cannot be checked.
• EMAIL_CODE_INCORRECT: The code you entered to confirm your new email is not correct.
• EMAIL_CODE_EXPIRED: The code to confirm your new email is too old and no longer works.
• EMAIL_CODE_ATTEMPTS_EXHAUSTED: You entered a wrong code too many times, so that code no longer works.
• CODE_EMAIL_NOT_CONFIGURED: The app cannot send emails right now, so the confirmation code could not be sent.
• AVATAR_NOT_FOUND: The picture you chose for your profile does not exist.
• PHOTO_INVALID: The photo is not accepted. It must be a JPEG, PNG or WebP picture of less than 300 KB.
• CURRENT_PASSWORD_INCORRECT: The current password you entered is not correct.
• PASSWORD_SAME_AS_CURRENT: The new password is the same as your current one.
• PASSWORD_SAME_AS_TEMPORARY: The new password is the same as the temporary one you were given.
• PASSWORD_NOT_TEMPORARY: You tried to replace a temporary password, but your password is no longer temporary.
• OWN_ROLES_CHANGE_FORBIDDEN: You cannot change your own roles.
• OWN_DEACTIVATION_FORBIDDEN: You cannot deactivate your own account.
• OWN_DELETION_FORBIDDEN: You cannot delete your own account.
• USER_DEACTIVATED: The user is deactivated, so this change is not possible.
• USER_ALREADY_DEACTIVATED: The user was already deactivated.
• LAST_ADMINISTRATOR_REQUIRED: This change would leave the firm without any active administrator, and at least one must always remain.
• ADMINISTRATOR_PERMISSIONS_RESERVED: Only an administrator can manage the permissions of an administrator.
• PRIMARY_ROLE_PERMISSIONS_RESERVED: You can only change the portal permissions of this user, not the main role.
• CLIENT_ACCOUNT_MANAGED_FROM_CLIENT: Accounts of clients are managed from the page of the client, not from the list of users.
• CLIENT_ROLE_NOT_ASSIGNABLE: The client role cannot be given from the user screen. A client account is created from the page of that client.
• ROLE_REQUIRED: A user needs at least one role, and none was chosen.
• ROLES_UNKNOWN: One of the roles chosen does not exist.
• PORTAL_CAPABILITY_AMBIGUOUS: Both portal permissions were chosen, but only one is allowed, either reading or editing.
• CNAE_ASSIGNMENT_INCLUDED_IN_ADMINISTRATOR: The administrator role already includes the right to assign CNAE codes, so it does not need to be added.
• PRIMARY_ROLE_REQUIRED: A portal permission alone is not enough. The user also needs a main role.
• SYSTEM_AGENT_ROLE_EXCLUSIVE: The assistant role cannot be combined with other roles.
• NOTICE_CHANNEL_NOT_CONFIGURED: The firm has not set up the way of sending notices you chose, such as email or WhatsApp.
• NOTICE_PHONE_REQUIRED: Notices by WhatsApp need a mobile phone number, and none is saved in the profile.
• PUSH_DEVICES_LIMIT: You have reached the maximum number of devices that can receive notifications.

Client accounts and access links

• ACCESS_NOT_FOUND: The access you are looking for does not exist, or it was already removed.
• VIEWER_ACCESS_NOT_FOUND: The view only access you are looking for does not exist.
• ACCESS_REVOKED: This access was taken away, so it cannot be used or changed.
• ACCESS_ALREADY_REVOKED: This access was already taken away.
• VIEWER_ALREADY_MANAGES_CLIENT: The person already manages that company, so they do not need view only access to it.
• LINK_INVALID: The link you opened is not valid, or it has expired.
• ACCESS_EMAIL_NOT_CONFIGURED: The app cannot send emails right now, so the access could not be sent by email.
• PHONE_ONLY_FOR_WHATSAPP: A phone number was given, but it is only used when the access is sent by WhatsApp.
• PHONE_REQUIRED_FOR_WHATSAPP: You chose to send the access by WhatsApp, but no phone number was given.

Clients and CNAE

• CLIENT_NOT_FOUND: The client does not exist, or you do not have access to it.
• CLIENT_ALREADY_ACTIVE: The client is already active, so it does not need to be reactivated.
• CLIENT_NOT_ASSIGNED_TO_USER: The client was not assigned to that user, so the assignment cannot be removed.
• GROUP_NOT_FOUND: The group of companies does not exist, or it was removed.
• GROUP_NAME_TAKEN: There is already a group of companies with this name.
• CLIENT_ALREADY_IN_GROUP: The company is already in a group, or it is not active, so it cannot be added.
• GROUP_PARENT_NOT_MEMBER: The head company of a group must be one of the companies of that group.
• ASSIGNEE_CANNOT_SERVE_CLIENTS: The person chosen does not exist or cannot look after clients.
• ASSIGNEE_WITHOUT_CLIENT_ACCESS: The person chosen does not have access to this client.
• NIF_REQUIRED: The tax number (NIF) is required and was left empty.
• NIF_INVALID: The tax number (NIF or NIE) is not valid.
• CIF_INVALID: The company tax number (CIF) is not valid.
• NIF_ALREADY_REGISTERED: Another client already has this tax number, and a tax number can only be used once.
• NIF_CONFIRMATION_REQUIRED: You must confirm that the document is correct before continuing.
• IBAN_INVALID: The bank account number (IBAN) is not valid.
• FIELD_VALUE_INVALID: The value you entered for this field is not accepted. For example, the firm itself completes the name of a person or the tax number of a company still being created.
• VERSION_REQUIRED: The request did not say which version of the record you were editing, so it was not saved.
• STALE_DATA: Someone else changed this record while you were editing it, so your change was not saved.
• CNAE_NOT_FOUND: One of the CNAE activity codes chosen does not exist.
• COMMENT_NOT_FOUND: The comment does not exist, or it was removed.
• COMMENT_NOT_OWN: You can only change your own comments.
• COMMENT_LENGTH_INVALID: The comment is empty or too long.
• IDEMPOTENCY_KEY_INVALID: The request carried an identifier that is empty or too long, so it was refused.
• IDEMPOTENCY_KEY_REUSED: The same request identifier was used for a different request, so it was refused to avoid doing something twice.
• SEARCH_TERM_TOO_SHORT: The search text is too short. It needs at least 2 characters.

Documents, folders and uploads

• DOCUMENT_NOT_FOUND: The document does not exist, or it was deleted.
• DOCUMENT_ALREADY_EXISTS: This client already has this same document, so it was not saved twice.
• DOCUMENT_ALREADY_ANALYZED: The document was already checked for threats.
• DOCUMENT_NOT_PENDING_ANALYSIS: The document is no longer waiting to be analyzed.
• DOCUMENT_CONTENT_MISSING: The record of the document exists, but its file cannot be found in storage.
• DOCUMENT_UNAVAILABLE: The document cannot be opened because it was found to be infected or it is in quarantine.
• DOCUMENT_NOT_FROM_REQUEST: This action only works for documents that were sent in answer to a request, and this one was not.
• FILE_EMPTY: The file you sent is empty.
• FILE_TYPE_UNSUPPORTED: The type of file is not accepted. Documents can be PDF, JPG, PNG, HEIC, XML, DOC, DOCX, ODT, ODS or RTF, and archives can be ZIP, 7z or RAR.
• ATTACHMENT_TYPE_UNSUPPORTED: The assistant can only read PDF, JPG, PNG or HEIC files, and yours is of another type.
• ATTACHMENT_INFECTED: The file contains a threat, so it was refused.
• ATTACHMENT_UNREADABLE: The assistant could not read the file.
• ATTACHMENT_SCAN_FAILED: The file could not be checked for threats, so it was not accepted.
• ATTACHMENT_READING_UNAVAILABLE: The reading of files is not available at the moment.
• FILE_TOO_LARGE: The file or the audio is bigger than the maximum size allowed.
• FILE_READING_BUSY: Many files are being read right now, so yours has to wait.
• ANTIVIRUS_THREAT_DETECTED: The antivirus found a threat in the file, so the file was discarded.
• DESCRIPTION_TOO_LONG: The description of the document is longer than the limit allows.
• UPLOAD_LIMIT_CHANGED: Someone else changed the maximum file size while you were editing it, so your change was not saved.
• THUMBNAILS_UNAVAILABLE: The small preview pictures of documents are not available at the moment.
• FOLDER_NOT_FOUND: The folder does not exist, or it was removed.
• FOLDER_NAME_ALREADY_EXISTS: There is already a folder with this name.
• FOLDER_NAME_LENGTH_INVALID: The name of the folder is empty or too long.
• OCR_NOT_ENABLED: The automatic reading of documents (OCR) is not turned on.
• EXTRACTION_NOT_FOUND: This document has no automatic reading.
• EXTRACTION_ALREADY_DONE: The automatic reading of this document was already done.
• EXTRACTION_NOT_REVIEWABLE: The data of this document cannot be reviewed now. It was already confirmed, or the suggestion is not ready yet.
• EXTRACTION_DATA_REQUIRED: You must enter at least one value to confirm the data of the document.
• EXTRACTION_FORMAT_INVALID: The date or one of the amounts does not have a valid format.
• POLICY_TYPE_INVALID: The type of insurance policy is not valid.
• UPLOAD_REQUEST_NOT_FOUND: The request for documents does not exist, or it was removed.
• UPLOAD_REQUEST_CLOSED: The request for documents no longer accepts files.
• UPLOAD_CATEGORY_INVALID: The category of the request is not accepted. It can only be invoice or other.

Invoice sources (programs the company keeps its invoices in)

• INVOICE_SOURCE_NOT_FOUND: The invoice source does not exist, or it was removed.
• INVOICE_SOURCE_KIND_UNKNOWN: The program you chose for the invoices is not supported.
• INVOICE_SOURCE_CONFIG_INVALID: Some connection details are missing, or there are extra ones that are not needed.
• INVOICE_SOURCE_CONNECTION_FAILED: The invoice program did not accept the credentials, or it is not answering.
• INVOICE_SOURCE_OTHER_BUSINESS: The credentials belong to another business, because their tax number is not the tax number of this company.
• INVOICE_SOURCE_EXISTS: This company already has that invoice source connected.
• INVOICE_SOURCE_BUSY: This invoice source is being synchronized right now, so it cannot be changed or removed.

Invoices, policies, vehicles, tasks and taxes

• INVOICE_NOT_FOUND: The invoice does not exist, or it belongs to another client.
• INVOICE_VOIDED: The invoice was voided, so it can no longer be changed.
• INVOICE_ALREADY_EXISTS: There is already an active invoice with this number from the same other party.
• POLICY_NOT_FOUND: The insurance policy does not exist, or it belongs to another client.
• POLICY_CANCELLED: The insurance policy was cancelled, so it can no longer be changed.
• POLICY_NUMBER_ALREADY_EXISTS: There is already an active policy with this number at the same insurance company.
• POLICY_EXPIRY_BEFORE_START: The expiry date of the policy is earlier than its start date.
• POLICY_DOCUMENT_NOT_OF_CLIENT: The document linked to the policy does not exist or does not belong to this client.
• VEHICLE_NOT_FOUND: The vehicle does not exist, or it belongs to another client.
• VEHICLE_PLATE_ALREADY_EXISTS: There is already a vehicle with this plate.
• VEHICLE_PLATE_INVALID: The plate is not valid. It may only have letters and numbers, from 4 to 12 characters.
• VEHICLE_VIN_INVALID: The chassis number (VIN) is not valid. It has 17 letters and numbers, and never uses the letters I, O or Q.
• TASK_NOT_FOUND: The task does not exist, or you do not have access to it.
• TASK_ASSIGNEE_REQUIRED: A task without a client needs a person assigned to it.
• TASK_KIND_NEEDS_CLIENT: A task of the kind that the assistant (Clippy) solves needs a client.
• TASK_NOT_FOR_CLIPPY: The assistant (Clippy) does not solve this kind of task.
• TASK_REVIEW_IS_CLIPPYS: Only the assistant (Clippy) can set the status "To review".
• TAX_MODEL_NOT_FOUND: The tax form (model) does not exist.
• TAX_MODEL_NOT_ASSIGNED: The client does not have this tax form assigned, or the form is not filed in the period chosen.
• TAX_CALENDAR_MISSING: The tax calendar of that year is not loaded in the app, so the dates cannot be worked out.

Emails of document requests

• MAIL_TEMPLATE_NOT_FOUND: The email template does not exist, or it was removed.
• MAIL_TEMPLATE_NAME_ALREADY_EXISTS: The area already has an email template with this name.
• MAIL_TEMPLATE_DEFAULT_NOT_DELETABLE: The default template cannot be deleted.
• MAIL_TEMPLATE_VARIABLE_UNKNOWN: The template uses a word in curly brackets that the app does not know.
• MAIL_TEMPLATE_LINK_MISSING: The body of the template must include the upload link, and it does not.
• MAIL_TEMPLATE_FOLDER_REQUIRED: The template uses the folder, but the request has no folder.
• MAIL_LOGO_INVALID: The logo is not accepted. It must be a PNG or JPEG picture of less than 200 KB.
• MAIL_LOGO_NOT_FOUND: The email signature has no logo.
• MAIL_SENDER_NOT_CONFIGURED: The mailbox used to send emails for this area is not set up.
• CLIENT_EMAIL_MISSING: The client has no email address saved, so the request cannot be sent.

Assistant and traceability

• ASSISTANT_NOT_ENABLED: The assistant is not turned on.
• ASSISTANT_RATE_LIMITED: You asked the assistant too many questions in the last hour.
• VOICE_NOT_ENABLED: The voice function of the assistant is not turned on.
• ASSISTANT_UNAVAILABLE: The assistant is not available at the moment.
• ASSISTANT_ATTACHMENTS_COUNT_INVALID: The number of files attached to the question is not allowed. A question needs from 1 to a few files, and the screen shows the maximum.
• CONVERSATION_INVALID: The conversation with the assistant is too long or is not complete.
• PROPOSAL_WITHOUT_DECISION: The proposal has no decision yet, so there is nothing to change.
• NO_PROPOSALS_TO_EXPLAIN: There are no proposals to explain.
• NO_MESSAGE_TO_ANSWER: There are no messages waiting for an answer, so no reply can be drafted.
